The quality of coaching a kid receives at the introductory stages plays a big role in shaping their journey in the sport and determining how far they go. To ensure that the juniors at Youlden Parkville get the best possible introduction to our great sport, the club has incentivised Community Coach accreditations for members.
Club members who complete their Community Coach accreditation before 6 October 2026 will be offered a $100 discount off their membership fee for the 2026/27 season.
The junior coach development program will not only guide you in imparting an understanding of cricket skills and tactics, but also help you get better at communicating feedback, creating a positive environment, and driving growth and improvement in individual players.
The program is made up of a self-paced online course that will help you learn with a mix of short lessons, podcasts, and articles, which will be followed by a face-to-face workshops.
