Meet the YPCC Committee
YPCC has an engaged and dynamic Committee of Management. The Committee is elected each year at the AGM and sits once a month during their term. Club members can nominate candidates for election to the Committee by emailing the Secretary prior to the annual AGM.
The Committee of Management is responsible for:Â
- adhering to the laws governing associations
- setting YPCC’s strategic direction
- making sure we’re well governed, democratic and financially sustainable
- providing a great cricket experience
- raising funds
- running social events
- promoting the club to all in our community
- preparing policies to keep club members safe
- recruiting and appointing volunteers and coaches
- representing club interests with Cricket Victoria and governing cricket associations
- setting and establishing a great culture
