There’s nothing like cooking and sharing food to forge friendships. Except, perhaps, playing cricket together. So it’s no surprise that they make for a winning combination.
A couple of seasons ago a fantastic group of YPCC’s South Asian families decided the time was right to host an evening of home cooked Sri Lankan and Indian foods. Add music and dancing to the mix and you have a recipe for success.
Curry Night was such a hit that it has quickly become part of our annual social roster and the go-to season event for YPCC seniors, juniors and supporters.
Cricket might bring us together but it’s the sharing of food and good times after a day’s play that really creates the friendships upon which our club is built.
